By celebrating "Gusarske veceri" (Pirate Nights), citizens of Omis try to preserve memory of their town history. During the celebration, events such as sailing out of a pirate ship, sea sports, Pirate challenge, young painters street art, children games on the sea, baby marathon and video projections and many other activities take place. There is also a rich musical and culinary program.
